Turkey Tournament

After a filling Thanksgiving at my Mother-In-Laws, we had soccer games all weekend!

This was just an extra event that teams could sign up for to play soccer tournament style. If a child was out of town, then the team could pick up another player(s). Our team only had one girl out of town, so we picked up one player and had the referee fee donated so that none of our parents had to ref any games last weekend and they could enjoy the time off.

The girls played one game Friday, 2 games Saturday, and a fun only game Sunday. They lost all of them. They were especially bummed about losing to the orange team because they tied them in the regular season, but they had picked up 2 girls who were really good.

BUT........tonight they play the orange team again, only this time it's for the regular seasons' playoffs. So we'll be at a rock concert tonight at 6 pm.......The Red Hot Chili Peppers vs. The Smashing Pumpkins........I'll post those game pictures tomorrow, but here are some from this weekend....

This was the second game, these girls were really good.....apparently they always are, they were from Chino Hills.....
The dreaded Orange team.......
This was Sunday's game, which was for fun because we had lost all the games and they threw this one at us......givin' the dogs a bone!
Ladies and gentleman, introducing.....James.....in his coaching debut......along with coaches wife....because coach and assistant coach wanted to take the game off (since it was for fun) and enjoy it....
They lost again.....but now James might actually be interested in coaching next fall....yeah right.

Air Jessi again.......I love when she does this..... We froze our butts off Saturday, it started drizzling a little in the afternoon, and Sunday we almost got blown away to China!

I really hope it is decent tonight for the 6 o'clock game, it'll be interesting being under the lights!
