STILL HERE !!!

I'll bet you've been checking in to see what we've been up to and there's no new post!?!

Until now......

Spring break has come and gone for both girls. Ash had hers the last week of March and Jes had hers last week. It was nice to have some one on one time with each of them. Breakfasts and shopping and sleeping in...for them, I still had to get the other one not on break ready for school. By the end of each girls' week I was ready for them to go back to school! Now that they are both back in school I can breathe again! Oh, and there's no one to argue with either. (these girls give me a run for my parenting) (skills? I have no skills!)

Easter came and went without a hitch. I'll post some pictures as soon as I download them into the computer. It was nice. I tell ya, things are sneaking up on me so dang fast lately. The easter bunny was a bit lacking this year (not like they needed MORE stuff) but it was good anyway. Whew! Andrea's card was hysterical! I of course blew it again with the card thing! (thanks for the card!) (that's a whole nother post about forgetting and getting out thank you's late...there's no excuse, just laziness)

Spring pictures just came back the other day, so keep your eyes open for snail mail!

Been working on planting new plants and weeding the planters. We've had some awesome warm weather lately....but cool stuff the last week. Poor me with my warm weather while most of my family is either flooded or freezing! Sorry guys......sucks for you!

A sneaky bird blew the whistle on summer plans for us. Things needed to fall into place BEFORE they were revealed! Oh well, that's what you get for owning a mocking bird! (hi mom)
Time off is being aquired from James' job. We're pushing for 2 weeks so we can drive out in the motor home and sightsee along the way to Illinois and back. It will give us about 5 days to visit and annoy everyone! Not to mention rednecking out a couple driveways for a few of those days.
Wonder if we could park at the old folks home?! They'd probably kick my G-ma out......we'll bring her home with us, my mom needs company! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
I'll definately be in contact with those I'm hoping to annoy as things get closer. Hopefully no one's moving or leaving town when we'd like to come!

Other than that, the days just trudge on by like usual. And really fast at that! I usually slow them down by remembering the chores I need to do! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
