Happy Birthday............................... Sienna Beth Janak!!!

18 3/4 inches.......7 pounds 1 ounce......4:14 a.m. New York time this morning the 20th of April.

Mommy and baby are doing well. Daddy and Grandma Beth got to be in the birthing room and daddy cut the cord. My brother says it was so cool...the whole experience.

Shannon will be released on Friday, they're waiting for a private room and will be in one when one of the other mom's are released later today. They were worried about sharing a room because then my brother wouldn't be able to stay with them in the room, he'd have to leave, but they are alone in their room anyway...so it worked out.

She's a cutie! I knew she wouldn't be as big as my girls....they were a whole pound and a half heavier and like 4 inches longer. Good thing, that woulda hurt!!! (both mine were C-section, so I have no experience there)
