Forecasters calling for a worse storm today than yesterday.
I am not going to believe the hype today...........much.
Turns out that some people actually caught water twisters on film and posted on youtube, and there were a couple of cars flipped over and a very hard to see tornado ripping off roof tiles and causing junk to fly everywhere. But not anywhere near my area.
Bigger threat is to those folks whose burn areas are going to mud slide with all this rain. (not us, we're flatlanders)
So, the kids are back in school and mom's not going to watch the news. Anything that did happen yesterday was really very minimal, considering, and after all..........this is California (insert Arnold Swarzenegger pronunciation) what could happen?!
Worse thing that could happen around my house is that my poorly poured cement driveway will flood and cause me to have to park across the sidewalk area just so we don't wade in a puddle getting out. And the third car garage may retain some water because of said driveway; planters along the house may flood because of poorly placed gutters; and the big scardey cat dogs will be up my butt around the house all day.
All you midwesterners get ready for the snow storms headed your way! Gas up those snowmobiles and here come the snow days and the fun!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! But only if I get a day off. If that isn't going to happen, it can just get warm. I hate the cold. I hear ice hittig the window as I type....
We need a little more cold down here in Fl!!!
I'm a little jealous...I love thunderstorms and tornadoes. Cannot wait until Spring!!!!
I've been thinking about you all with your crazy weather! Glad to hear you're not in the mudslide area!!
Crazy!! That pic is just freaky!
