Smoke Day !

No school today for Jessi due to unhealthy air because of the smoke. (it's our own snow day!)
Poor Ashlee has to go to school today......her district is not closing today, maybe they think they're far enough away

The air was pretty much just like the picture yesterday. Smelled mostly like fireplaces, but no ashes in the sky...at least by us. We went out for dinner at the new mall near mom's last night. Even though it was around 5 p.m., the closer we got to Chino Hills, the smokier it got. It was rather creepy. Then after dark, you really couldn't tell it was smokey but you could smell it.

Mom's area seems to be in the clear again today. She went to work, but her district is closed so she's just cleaning her bus. She's going to be in the major smelly area.......is it her? hahahaha! The smoke will be really bad over there because there's still fire in that area. Only 40% contained so far. It covered a huge area.........the news has dubbed the fire "triangle fire" but really it was more of a semi-circle. The friends she had stay with her only stayed Friday night then they went to another friends house during the day and stayed there last night. I don't think they can go back to their house yet because it's in the Canyon, but not near the fire.

So, yeah, we have earthquakes AND fires..........makes a tornado look inviting...................NOT !!!!

Ok, enough excitement around here, I'm going back to bed!
