Book Fair

Whew! I'm pooped!

I spent all week so far at Jessi's schools' bookfair as a volunteer. On my feet from 8-2 on Monday and Tuesday and from 10-1:30 on Wednesday.






Ok people, you have to understand that I am not used to that. I'm a spoiled rotten stay at home mom who usually sits on her butt unless I'm grocery shopping or picking up the kids. (did I forget the chores.....awww shucks) So my feet hurt! But I am the kick-butt volunteer.......oh yes, I am......

These pictures aren't of our school, but the set up is pretty much the same. We help the kids find books that are on their reading counts lists (for points towards reading) and make sure things stay neat and nothing gets taken. (sadly it happens..........but not this year! yeah!) I don't run the register, but I run my tail around helping and being goofy and talking to the kids I know either by name or face recognition. I volunteer for so many different things that most the kids are familiar with me. Next year I'll be on the PFA (hopefully, if I'm nominated and voted for) and then I'll really bug everybody! (at least financially, I'm tryin' for assistant treasurer.)
