Can you see the 61 in the picture? We wouldn't want to blind her by actually putting 61 candles on the cake (though I had them ready) Love her attempt to blow them out! Even Jessi was laughing about it! We had to put the candles in the corner of the cake because she was taking the middle part home and didn't want holes in it......well, she did bake and bring her own cake. (sad, huh) She wanted to, I swear. We had planned a bbq of shish-ka-bobs for her and she said she'd bring dessert. So I teased her that she brought her own cake....mmm...mmm...good!
She's got jokes too. Apparently she fooled a couple of people with the same joke. She told me she didn't think she could come over for the bbq because her vision was blurry. When I asked her why her vision was blurry and what happened, she nailed me with "my vision's blurry because of all the candles on my cake"..............yeah, she got me. Didn't think she had it in her.......and it was a clean joke too, no swearing or disgusting things. You're funny lady!
Good time that day. Lotsa food too. Got fatter. At least it wasn't burgers and dogs for the third day in a row.
When she turns 62......I'm loadin' up the cake with candles! bwahahaha!
