This is the third time.....it's pathetic!!
Mom's standard poodle Bailey got skunked this morning!
I swear in the history of living in California, her dogs--both past and present--have all gotten nailed by skunks! Her current dogs have been "skunked" three times in the last year!
It doesn't help that the house is not far from a nature preserve.......hence the skunks and coyotes and rabbits. But with that in mind----and especially the track record----I would be outside first to make darn sure that the critters that frequent my yard were nowhere in sight when I let the dogs out! Then I wouldn't have dead rabbits and smelly dogs to deal with! The greyhounds catch and kill the rabbits---oh, and eat them too! (Pearl does anyway) YUCK !
It's a pain in the butt I'm sure. Not to mention a pain in the nose! (ha ha ha)
Hey, at least my mom keeps herself busy! Love you mom! Smell ya later!
