More on LOST

Did you see the season opener??? Pretty exciting.

We were actually watching with alternative reasons.....

we wanted to see if we recognized any of what we saw when we were on Oahu this summer. We stayed very close to where filming takes place and we scoped out so much and took mega pictures just so we could say we were there!

And guess what?......SCORE!!!!!

Remember last night when Kate was taken to a hut on the beach to eat with Henry......

That's the hut! (not the people though, just some beach goers) So cool that we actually saw it in real life!
Remember the houses in the beginning? They were yellow and looked like a little community. Well we saw those too! Those are actual cabins that are on a camp property that allowed filming. The camp property is actually on the beach and those cabins are across the road from the beach. We heard from a camp counselor that the cast stayed there and we even missed filming by one day. We even think we saw Jin and Locke getting in some target practice in the camps archery section which was not too far from the road. We kept staring and driving by really slow and they kept staring back at us, even smiling. What a cool (non)encounter!
Not sure if I took pictures of those cabins.....but if I did, I'll edit and post later.

It's pretty neat to like a TV show and then be able to see the places we were at and know they filmed there and then watch it on TV.

Just a little excitment in our otherwise dull drum lives!
