Get ready, I have bragging rights.....................
Last night was the award ceremony for Principal's Honor Roll. That means that these kids had to have a 3.50 or higher in order to receive an award. Of course, every kid there was getting an award..................but did every kid have STRAIGHT A's?!?!......For the last two years?(most of her school life as well)........We're talking a 4.43 average! She's going for all A's for the entire three years of her Jr. High, and so far she's accomplished that these last two years. Too bad they don't have that specific award, at least they didn't last night......but who knows if they'll have one next year, it's cool just knowing it within our little circle anyway.
She sat with her friends, and boy were they active! Chitter chat, giggle, waving at everyone and cheering for eachother as the night went on. Come to find out they were also texting the entire night as well...........I swear, these kids these days!
Here she is accepting her award from her Principal, who knows her by name since 6th grade. (My principals definately didn't know me by name for my good grades or citizenship!) She's like "oh my gosh.....me?!?", way to play up the evening! Can you believe he's got 4 of his own kids? He's such a young whipper snapper!
Then here she is with half the 7th graders who won as well. The group was so large that they had to split them in half so that they could all fit on the stage. Out of the 6,7, 8 grades....the 7th grade had the most kids receiving awards. It was the same when they were in 6th last year. Look out America.....these are our future leaders!!!!
