It's been hot these last couple weeks! I'm talking 100-115 degree weather. Today is actually the first day it's been nice. Open the windows kinda nice. (we won't even discuss the current electric bill)
So this is how we've been beatin' the heat...
we "just keep swimmin' " and man is it nice! Mom joins us a lot and it's good therapy for her hip too. (just don't splash her.....huh? that wasn't me!)
We can't bribe the dogs to get in the pool--better on the filter anyway--so they'll have to keep getting hosed down. The big dog likes it, but not the other one, have to chase her down and carry her over to the hose. Chicken!
We keep the misters on for them to keep them cool and they're in and out of the house-gotta watch Ash's allergies with them. Her asthma will kick up if we're not careful about them being in the house too much.
Giving the pool a break today and just going to bum around the house. Suppose I should clean or something......NOT!
